Chris Hughes, Co-Founder, Facebook
Chris R. Hughes co-founded and served as spokesperson for Facebook, the social networking website with Harvard roommates Mark Zuckerberg and Dustin Moskovitz. Facebook is the world's most used social network by worldwide monthly active users. Hughes currently serves as a consultant for the popular site Hughes also acted as coordinator of online within the Barack Obama presidential campaign. In this role he founded MyBarackObamba.com, the campaign's online social networking website. In April 2009 Hughes was featured as the cover story of US magazine Fast Company under the headline "The kid who made Obama President; how Facebook Co-Founder Chris Hughes unleaded Barack's base- and changed politics and marketing forever". Hughes served on the National Board of Directors of the Roosevelt Institution in 2005 and 2006. In 2006, Hughes graduated magna cum laude from Harvard with a degree in History and Literature. Hughes is also an Entrepreneur in Residence at General Catalyst Partners, a venture capital firm that invests in entrepreneurs who are building the technology-based companies that will lead innovation and transform industries.


Pierre Woreczek, Chief Brand and Strategy Officer, McDonald's Europe, (F)
Pierre Woreczek is Senior Vice President of Brand Strategy at McDonald's Europe and is responsible for sustainability, marketing and food strategy. He also leads the Business Insights department and Design Studio. Pierre began his career with McDonald's in 1996 as Director of Marketing and Research at McDonald's France. In 1999, he was promoted to Vice-President, Marketing and Research, before joining Cadbury Schweppes as Director-General of Marketing and Development. He returned to McDonald's in July 2003 as Vice-President of McDonald's European Food Studio, heading up the company's food and beverage strategy and brand innovations. In July 2005, Pierre was promoted to Chief Brand and Strategy officer managing the strategic positioning of the brand and continuing overall management of the Food Studio. Pierre has over 20 years experience in Marketing, R&D and advertising including six years at Jacobs Suchard and eight years in advertising.


Arun Sinha, Chief Marketing and Communications Officer, Zurich Financial Services
Arun is the Chief Marketing and Communications Officer of Zurich Financial Services, a leading global insurance provider. He oversees all aspects of integrated marketing, customer insights, brand management, web strategy, corporate communications, media relations, external and internal communications in over 150 countries for Zurich. Prior to joining Zurich, Arun served as the Chief Marketing Officer and President of Services & Solutions of Pitney Bowes. He also held senior executive positions in marketing, business development and brand management at Philip Morris and Young & Rubicam. Arun has transformed companies by changing perceptions and growing brand equities of many world-renowned brands.  
His achievements have been well recognized. Among other awards, in 2003 and 2004, BtoB Magazine named Arun a "Top Marketer of the Year," while in 2004 his team received Business Week's "Excellence in Corporate Advertising" award. Arun is an acclaimed author of a book, "Sweet Spot: How to Maximize Marketing for Business Growth." He serves on the Board of Directors of the Direct Marketing Association (DMA) and 24x7 Learning company. Arun holds degrees from Michigan State University, the Indian Institute of Mass Communications in New Delhi and from St. Xavier's College, University of Calcutta.


Michael Conrad, President, Berlin School of Creative Leadership (Germany)
Conrad is former Vice Chairman and Chief Creative Officer Leo Burnett Worldwide. Michael brought German engineering to global quality management in advertising, helping Leo Burnett Worldwide Inc. become "Global Agency Network" of the Year in 2000 (AdAge) and "Most Awarded Agency Network" in 2001 (Gunn Report). Under his creative leadership 27 Leo Burnett agencies were named "Agency of the Year" in their countries, some of them more than once. Michael presided over many juries of international advertising festivals, including "Cannes", "AdFest", "Clio" and "Golden Drum". He serves as Dean of the Roger Hatchuel Lions Academy and is Honorary Member of ADC Switzerland, ADC*Europe and ADC Germany. In 2002 German business daily "Handelsblatt" and "Wirtschaftswoche" magazine inducted him into the German Advertising "Hall of Fame".

Ely Dahan, Harvard MBA, Stanford PhD, Professor of Marketing, UCLA (USA)
Dahan develops internet-based market research methods, mathematical models of parallel and sequential prototyping, the economics of cost reduction, and strategies for mass customization. He is the recipient, along with his coauthors, of the INFORMS John D.C. Little Award, the American Marketing Association EXPLOR Award, the INFORMS Frank M. Bass Outstanding Dissertation Award (based on Olivier Toubia's PhD thesis), and the Journal of Product Innovation Managment Hustad Award. Dahan earned his PhD in the Operations & IT program at Stanford Business School, where he was a Department of Energy Fellow, an AACSB Doctoral Fellow, and a recipient of the Jaedicke Prize for scholarly achievement. He attended Princeton University, then received a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from MIT in 1978 and an MBA from Harvard in 1980.


Scott Davis, Senior Partner, Prophet (USA)
Scott is author of Brand Asset Management: Driving Profitable Growth Through Your Brands, named one of the top 30 books of 2000 by Executive Book Summaries. His third book, The Shift: The Transformation of Today's Marketers into Tomorrow's Growth Drivers will be released in Spring 2009. Scott has 20 years of brand, marketing strategy, and new product development experience. His previous work experience includes 12 years at Kuczmarski & Associates (K&A), an innovation and branding consulting company. Prior to K&A, Scott worked at Procter & Gamble. Scott is a member of the Chicago Olympic Marketing Committee, responsible for developing the pitch to bring the Summer Olympics to Chicago in 2016. He is also currently working with the City of Chicago on a major rebranding initiative for the city. Scott speaks at and chairs conferences for organizations such as American Marketing Association, American Management Association, and the Association of National Advertisers. He is frequently cited in publications such as The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, BusinessWeek, Brandweek, Marketing News, Management Review, Advertising Age, and Crain's. Scott is an Adjunct Professor at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. Scott earned a Master of Management from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern.


Christie Nordhielm, Professor of Marketing, University of Michigan (Ross)
Nordhielm is a recognized marketing consultant and trainer, and has worked for a variety of multinational organizations incl. American Express, W.J. Wrigley, Sprint, and Jim Beam Brands Worldwide. Nordhielm's expertise on a variety of marketing issues is often sought by publications such as the Wall Street Journal, Advertising Age, Business Week and other print and television media outlets. In addition to her publications in academic journals, Nordhielm has published in the Harvard Business Review. Professor Nordhielm's work is also presented in her forthcoming book, Marketing Management: The Big Picture. Nordhielm has received numerous teaching awards and recognition as an educator. In 2003, the Northwestern University'sKellogg School of Management student body recognized her with the highest honor given to a Professor for teaching excellence, the Lavengood Outstanding Professor of the Year award. Prior to joining the faculty of the University of Michigan, Nordhielm was an Assistant Professor at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. She was also a Lecturer in Marketing at the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business, where she earned her PhD in Marketing and Behavioral Science in 1998.


Andy Stefanovich, Co-Founder and CEO, Play (USA)
Stefanovich is Co-Founder and CEO of Play, a US based creativity and innovation company. Stefanovich has earned a reputation as one of the most disruptive and effective advisors in business. He spent the past 20 years helping companies like GE, General Mills, Proctor & Gamble, The United States Olympic Committee, and the Coca Cola Company drive innovation from the inside out - enriching their people and driving marketplace growth. Andy's true passion lies in guiding clients through the powerful evolution from inspiration to creativity to innovation. Stefanovich is frequently featured on CNBC as a nationally recognized innovation thought leader, and acts as visiting professor at many leading universities, including Dartmouth, University of Michigan, Duke, University of Richmond, and the Wharton School of Leadership. He is a published author and is frequently called upon to share his insights with the media. He is currently writing a forthcoming book on innovation to be published by Harper Collins.


Philippe Zell, SVP, Head of Global Categories & CMO, Novartis Consumer Health (CH)
Philippe Zell is Senior Vice President, Head of Global Categories and Chief Marketing Officer for Novartis Consumer Health's Over-the-Counter Business Unit. At Novartis Zell has served in several Senior Leadership positions in operational and category General Management. He started as Health & Functional Food Global Business Unit Head. He was then appointed Vice-President Marketing OTC EMEA and Global Category General Manager for the Derm business franchise. Prior to joining Novartis in 2001, Zell served in Senior Marketing positions with Procter & Gamble for 11 years in Switzerland, the Near East and Hong Kong in Laundry, Paper, Health & Beauty Care and Food business units. His last position at P&G was European Marketing Director Snack Food where he led the geographical expansion of Pringles in Western and Eastern Europe. Zell has a Master of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering from the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne.

Roger Sinclair, Founder of BrandMetrics valuation methodology & Professor Emeritus (Wits)
BrandMetrics valuation methodolgy is one of the world's most sound and useful measures of a brand's worth. Sinclair recently retired from the University of the Witwatersrand (Wits), Johannesburg, after 5 years as professor of marketing and head of the marketing department. Sinclair is a popular speaker at conferences and writes regularly for business, management, marketing, and academic journals. He is chairman of the Marketing Association of South Africa Oversight Committee and also chairs the SABMiller Responsible Marketing Compliance Committee.  Roger has a Master of Commerce degree (M.Com.) and PhD from Wits.


Roland Bernhard, Partner, Prophet (CH)
Roland Bernhard is leading Prophet's Zurich office, leveraging 18 years of international business and consulting experience in marketing, brand strategy and innovation management. He has worked with clients from various industries (financial services, agri business, media, consumer goods, real estate, hospitality, telecom etc.) and regions. Prior to his consulting career, Roland was Global Head of Marketing and a member of the International Management Board for Red Bull. While there, he led and reshaped the international marketing team in order to focus on more future-oriented, strategic growth initiatives.  Before joining Red Bull, Roland has been working 6 years at The Coca-Cola Company and BPW, a JV between The Coca-Cola Company and Nestlé SA.  While there, he held a number of senior level positions including: Head of Marketing Europe & Eurasia - Tea Category; Member of the European Innovation Leadership Group of The Coca-Cola Company and Board Member in Switzerland.


Dr. Beat Bühlmann, Sales Manager, Google Switzerland
Prior to Google, Bühlmann worked six years as Sales Manager Small & Medium Businesses and Brand Manager Enterprise for Dell Switzerland in Geneva. Before joining Dell, he was a Presales Consultant for Key Accounts at Hewlett-Packard, Zurich. For more than 10 years, he has actively been researching virtual teams in theory and practice and published the management book 'Need to manage a virtual team? Theory and practice in a nutshell'. He leads seminars and teaches business administration, online marketing, and virtual team management at various Swiss business schools. Beat Bühlmann started his career with an apprenticeship as car mechanic, holds an Swiss engineering degree BSc in computer science, an E-MBA (Zurich), and a PhD in Business Administration (Adelaide).


Jillian Gibbs, Founder & CEO, Advertising Production Resources (APR)

Allen Thrasher, Marketing Principal EMEA, InfoPrint Solutions
Allen is the Marketing Principal for EMEA at InfoPrint Solutions - a joint venture between IBM and Ricoh. Allen works with customers to provide expert advice and guidance on Transpromo. TransPromo combines transactional data, proactive marketing, and advanced output technology that is generating powerful opportunities for companies worldwide. Her over twenty years experience across the breadth of brand, integrated marketing, and strategy including over fourteen years direct marketing and eleven years digital marketing, allows her to provide a broader perspective to InfoPrint's customers. Prior to joining InfoPrint, Allen worked as a senior marketing consultant with the DM Consultancy in London. She consulted across the IT/Telecoms, Consumer Products and Retail sectors including launching BT Mobile and multiple product portofolios for Thomas Sanderson and Apollo blinds, Hunter Douglas subsidiaries, in the UK. Her global experience includes launching Concert Communications' (a joint venture between AT&T & BT) IP Portfolio and Marriott Rewards Internationally. As well, she worked with Intuit in the US to launch its Quickeninsurance.com in the midst of the dot com boom. She holds two bachelor degrees from Southern Methodist University, advanced marketing from New York University, and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing in the UK. In 2009, she received a Woman of Distinction Award from Outputlinks for her work on the forefront of
TransPromo.
